THE BUTLER pricing, operated by the All Japan Butler Association, follows a "staircase" structure: the longer the engagement, the lower the hourly rate. Beginning with a 3-hour spot booking and stepping up to a full day, several days, a month, or a live-in butler — the pricing scales naturally with your needs. Every plan discloses all possible surcharges and out-of-pocket costs in the quotation in advance — there is never an unexpected bill afterward. Below we explain the five core plans, together with the specialist lines (Guide Butler, Executive Butler, Royal Butler), one by one.

Our most casual spot plan. A footman handles party serving, guest reception, and shopping accompaniment from just 3 hours — ideal for a first-time trial of a real butler. Extensions are available in 1-hour units, and cancellation is free up to 7 days before your booking.
A day butler serves you exclusively from morning greeting to evening send-off — anniversaries, hosting important guests, all-day accompaniment — all within an 8-hour engagement at a lower hourly rate than the spot plan.
Suited to multi-day requests such as travel accompaniment, supporting a family member's stay, or intensive preparation around an event. The same butler serves you continuously, so understanding of your needs deepens day by day.
A continuous plan with your own butler 20 days a month. From housekeeping oversight and schedule management to guest reception and asset-management support, one butler grasps the whole of your life and work. An Executive Butler option (same rate) is also available for business-focused accompaniment.
The most senior plan: a House Steward resides on-site and oversees household management in its entirety — from staff supervision to management of assets and art, to hospitality for distinguished guests. A team of butlers covers the household around the clock, every day of the year.
THE BUTLER lets you rent a butler by the time you actually need, so pricing is set by contract type rather than by a fixed annual salary. The longer the term, the lower the hourly rate — a clear staircase you can climb at your own pace.
The most accessible entry point is the 3-hour Guest Footman from ¥26,400. It is ideal for party serving, welcoming guests, or a shopping errand — a way to experience a genuine butler on a single booking.
For continuous care, a monthly Private Butler (from ¥748,000) or a 24/7 resident House Steward is available. You can move up step by step — confirm the fit on a spot booking first, then deepen to a monthly arrangement.

Our butler service pricing is designed to be read at a glance. Whether for a single visit or a resident arrangement, every cost is published here in full, with no hidden fees added later. If anything is unclear, a coordinator well versed in our plans will guide you through it with care. We consider this clarity itself part of the hospitality of our butler service.
A butler’s base fee covers all the work performed while attending to you within the engaged time — from housekeeping to hospitality. Cleaning, cooking, receiving guests, secretarial coordination and more can be freely combined within that time. Only items outside the on-site working hours — such as overseas accompaniment — are itemised in advance in your quotation.
Beyond the base fee, only two kinds of extra cost may arise. Both are disclosed in full at the quotation stage — there is no billing surprise afterward.
THE BUTLER pricing is finalised before you commit, through a free quotation. We hear your request and present the full amount in advance — including any surcharges and out-of-pocket costs — and you only proceed once you are satisfied with the figure. Nothing is charged before the quotation is presented, and every surcharge and out-of-pocket cost is set out in that quotation in advance.
Share your preferred dates and the scene you would like to entrust to a butler — for daily life or for business. No cost arises at this stage.
Based on your request, we present the full amount — the base fee plus any surcharges and out-of-pocket costs — usually within 2–3 business days. The quotation itself is free.
Review the content and figure of the quotation and book once you are satisfied. A coordinator proposes the plan that best fits your budget.
If you wish to name a specific butler, we accept it free of charge. On the day, your butler serves within the scope of the confirmed quotation.

Boarding time is included in the engagement. Travel and accommodation are charged separately at cost; we do not arrange travel or lodging bookings ourselves.
For engagements of 8 or more consecutive days, the hourly rate is multiplied by 1.2 from the 8th day onward.
