Bell — legal name Yuichi Ishii. Drawn to the path of the butler at 28 by his admiration for a grandfather who belonged to the All Japan Butler Association, he was appointed the third Head Butler in March 2023. Since then he has promoted the THE BUTLER brand, the internationalization of the association, and the spread of butler culture through the media.

1. A Calling Inherited from My Grandfather
My grandfather was a butler belonging to the All Japan Butler Association. Watching him devote himself to his family and clients up close, the world he described — a dignified residence, white gloves, a silver tray — was pure admiration to me as a child. Wanting to carry on my grandfather's calling, I entered the path of the butler at the age of 28.

3. My Feelings as a Butler — "One Who Supports the Light"
A butler's work has no end. Standing beside a client's life and acting on what is needed before it is even put into words — that is the essence of the butler. I am often called "a shadow," but I think that is slightly wrong. A butler is one who supports the light.
